I recently got back from a week long trip to Salem, Massachusetts for Halloween. Things up there are quite different than things down here in Tennessee. The first thing I noticed was the houses. The majority of the houses there have no yard. The steps to the front door start on the sidewalk! Another thing about the houses is they are very close together. Some are so close you can reach out of your window and knock on your next door neighbors wall. Most of the houses there hold many families (usually 2-4) in one house. This is a picture I took in between two houses to show you all just how close they can be. (I even saw some closer than this.)
