For my Newspaper Club, I was assigned the task of taking pictures of all the gingerbread houses made by my school's Culinary Academy. I went in to the room filled with expectations like gingerbread walls, gumdrop bushes, and pretzel fences. While a majority of the edible creations complied with my thoughts, one particular house diverged into a category of its own.
This house decided to make a plot twist from the standard gingerbread home. Instead of gumdrop bushes decorating the area, there were instead severed gingerbread men oozing out pink frosting coated in gumdrops. And, instead of using icing to paint a pattern on the white-frosted rooftop, there was a craftily placed gingerbread man stuck to the roof, dropping gumdrops and icing from his poor detached leg.
