Hello Whyvillians! A while back I did an interview with you on old music vs. new music, but now I'm here to interview you on YOUR music! Now just give me a moment while I go gather up all of our wonderful participants for today . . . Ah, here they are, now let us begin!
redhottay: What is your favorite band? Why?
iBeMattie: Pierce The Veil
mildbird: My favorite band is R5. That's the only band I know, and it has Ross Lynch and his family.
rhettage: My favorite band is Black Veil Brides because their lyrics mean a lot to me and I can connect with them well.
DreamGr22: I love Owl City! It's not really a band, but I love it anyway! I like it because not all of their music is about love and breakups, which I see more and more in popular music today.
hammiehh: My favorite band is named We Came As Romans the reason is because their songs are about getting through your mistakes and everyone makes them. Their songs are about growing up and to keep your individuality; their songs are about how to keep yourself going, how to keep yourself on track.
redhottay: What genre is your favorite band? What other music genres do you listen to?
iBeMattie: Post-hard core. I also listen to punk rock and metal core and such.
mildbird: I believe R5's genre is pop. I also sometimes listen to rap, but if it's not clean, then I'm going back to pop.
rhettage: I believe they are a metal/rock band.
DreamGr22: Electronic? Techno? I really don't know. I like most pop stuff but I also listen to a lot of older stuff and classical music.
hammiehh: We Came As Romans is hardcore rock; I listen to rock, alternative, alternative rock, pop rock, punk, and punk pop.
redhottay: Who introduced you to your favorite band, or did you find them yourself?
iBeMattie: I found them myself a couple years ago.
mildbird: I found them on an ad while I was visiting a website.
rhettage: I found them myself, while scrolling through Tube.
DreamGr22: Pandora introduced me to Owl City. The song Fireflies played and I fell in love. From there I listened to Hello Seattle, Vanilla Twilight, In Christ Alone, Deer in the Headlights, Galaxies, and many more.
hammiehh: I found them myself.
redhottay: What is your favorite song? Why?
iBeMattie: "A Match Into Water". The lead singer wrote it about his ex girlfriend who had cancer, and I can relate to it since my mom and little sister both had cancer as well. I really connect to it.
mildbird: My favorite song is "Girls Just Want to Have Fun".
rhettage: My favorite song is "I'm Not a Vampire by Falling in Reverse" because I love the beat.
DreamGr22: I love all of his Christian stuff, because I'm Christian, and it's a fresh take of one of my favorite songs. I also love the song "Deer in the Headlights". It's upbeet, fast, and fun, exactly what I love in a song, and the music video cracks me up every time.
hammiehh: My favorite song is "Present, Future, and Past" because it's about that even with all of the events that have happened in your life you need to stay strong and show everyone you're a fighter. It's about staying strong and that no one can bring you down or change you. You are you and no one can change that.
redhottay: What is your favorite quote from a song or musician?
iBeMattie: "Be your own person because no one can ever take that away from you, no one." -Austin Carlile
mildbird: "Don't stop, Don't move, just keep it there." -Replay
rhettage: My favourite quote is: "Normal is a setting on a washing machine, who wants to be that?!" By Ashley Purdy.

hammiehh: My favorite quote is "But I can rise above, I can find the light." It's from their song "Hope".
redhottay: What other bands do you listen to?
iBeMattie: Of Mice & Men, All Time Low, Asking Alexandria, Black Veil Brides, Breathe Carolina Arctic Monkeys, Fall Out Boy, Nirvana, and a lot more.
mildbird: I don't listen to any other bands.
rhettage: Too many to count! BotDF, Three Days Grace, Falling in Reverse and Paramore name a few.
DreamGr22: Not all these are bands, but oh well! I listen to Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne (her older stuff mostly), and just music in general.
hammiehh: The other bands I listen to is Sleeping with Sirens, Of Mice and Men, Pierce the Veil, Green Day, Bring Me The Horizon, Nevershoutnever, and many many more that I can't name.
