I am an introvert my self, and I am speaking in my point of view.

Myth 1: We are rude and arrogant.

Although we may come off as rude or arrogant at times, it is usually not on purpose. We usually keep to ourselves, this might make other people feel as if we don't like them, or are way to good for them. We find it very draining to interact with, or be around a lot of people for extended periods of time. If you think an introvert is avoiding you, or is trying not to talk to you, it may be true, but probably not. A lot of the time, it has nothing to do with you, they just simply want to keep to themselves right now.

Myth 2: We are loners.

This one is partially true. Some of us are, some of us aren't. We usually only have one or two really good friends. Ones that we trust and are comfortable around, most of the time. Even though these people are our friends, we don't find it necessary to hang out with them all the time, or for elongated time periods.

Myth 3: We are all depressed.

The main difference between us and depressed people is that we are perfectly happy with how we are, while depressed people usually aren't. Although we may have some of the same characteristics a depressed person may have, we usually aren't actually depressed.

Myth 4: We hate everyone.

We do not hate everyone. Although we may hate someone, as most people do, we do not hate everyone. As stated before, we usually have one or two really good friends instead of 100 just friends.

Myth 5: We don't like to talk.

We just only talk when we actually have something we feel like we should say.

Myth 6: We are boring.

We are not boring. We just have our own unique hobbies that most people find weird or boring. I for one, enjoy sewing, making friendship bracelets (that I keep for myself XD), crocheting, drawing, reading and teaching my self skills such as the binary code. Everyone I know, including my family does not know how I find time for all these things, or how I am so good at all these things. This is because we invest lots of time into things we do like, even if most people don't find it "normal", instead of what other people consider "normal" or "fun". We do not enjoy being around tons of other people for elongated periods of time, such as at a party or at a dance.

Myth 7: We can be changed from an introvert to a "normal" person.

That is impossible. Introversion a very large part of us. Even though we could become less of an introvert, we will never fully be able to get rid of it. A main part of why we can't change is that we don't want to.
