Author's Note: I know this is a little weird, definitely different from my usual style. I can't explain why I chose to write this the way I did, but I'd love to hear what you think it means. So comment in the BBS, I want to hear what your minds think.

Every day, I have a routine
Normally it goes uninterrupted.
But this morning something most unfortunate happens
My usual sunny day is corrupted.

Now, normally when I first get out of bed
I go to relieve my bladder
But this morning when I wake up, I scratch my head
Staring at my bedroom door, where there is a ladder.

My house is not all that normal,
But something just doesn't feel right.
So I put my socks on, and pad to the hallway,
Where I see that the mop and the paint have gotten in a fight.

Color splashes the walls,
soap suds fizzle and pop
I look back at the ladder, and realize he is hiding.
I take a deep breath, and yell for the madness to stop.

The damage is done now,
there's no going back
They stare at me wonderingly,
seeing the anger in my eyes that they now lack

To my left the broom whispers "look!"
And to my right, the vacuum nods, pale as a ghost
Because behind me, painted on the wall
Is what we all fear most

The chaos ensued in an argument
Makes it's presence known.
Looking down at my feet, I notice something
The destructive path is growing!

This strange occurrence, has startled me
I close my eyes, saying "somebody pinch me,"
I feel nothing at all, and I'm quite disappointed
I was hoping to feel something, but now I know that I'm alone

Time freezes for a moment and I wonder what it means
Then I close my eyes and wake up, realizing it was just a dream.
My mind was in a battle, painting the chaos that I feel,
While my body lay in bed, silent, fast asleep.
