A lot of people have been complaining ever since I arrived at Whyville about not being able to swear. I don't care what you do off Whyville, but they made the site and have the right to make the rules.

If people were allowed to swear, many parents would not allow their children to come on Whyville any more, these would be our friends. Whyville is a website that tries to get people to learn about science, not learn new words to take home to their parents. This is a website for children young and old and the Whyville workers are doing a great job keeping it suitable for all ages.

My second topic is people asking for an elected government. I see no reason for it, since the Whyville city workers make such huge efforts to make Whyville a better place. An election would just cause more work and delay any other projects that were currently being worked on. I say just enjoy Whyville and let the workers do their jobs.

Editor's Note: I have to admit, I agree pretty strongly with your points, Towncryer. You're definitely right about an election delaying any other project. When we set up a citizen government -- and we will, someday! -- we want to do it right, which means a lot of work on our part, programming and planning. On the other hand, if it's what the majority of our citizens, new and old, want us to do, well, that's what we should do! You folks are the ones we're doing all this for, after all. Some decisions we have to make; others we really do want you to help us with.
