I am the snowy mountains
Inspect me from afar, memorize my beauty
Measure my height; complexity, then endeavor to scale me
You may fall, risking your own life to witness the mystery the clouds chamber;
The crest of me
Most will retire and journey back down
Those who remain distinguish my truth
The wind I receive, my view of the world . . .
Everything bare
I seize your breath as tribute
Elegiac, prosaic balance of precision
A tricky expedition valued so small
But, God, am I beautiful
I am worth it
Spot me
Climb me
Caution:
I am not a place for cowards
