Hey, FlyGurL89 here, asking the newest question! Have you seen it!!? Seen what? you may ask! The new Whyville waiting room! It's a lounge!

One day, I was trying to get back on Whyville around 10:00. Unsurprisingly, I didn't get in! This is because I haven't purchased my Pass yet. Anyway, as usual, I was going to try to sign back in... but wait! Everything's different!

I scrolled down and it said Whyville Lounge, and as any person would do, I clicked on it! It was a lounge! You can raise your salary now! Read the paper, even go onto Whyville as a guest!! This was awesome! I COULDN'T BELIVE MY EYES! After all of our hard work with polls and petitions it passed! The lounge! Somewhere where you can just hang out, although you can not talk, it's really kool!

Editor's Note: I've received several forum-sized articles praising the Lounge -- there's been a more positive response to this than any other Whyville activity, it seems! I should correct one thing that FlyGurl89 stated above, though. As far as I know, you can not raise your salary from playing the games in the Whyville Lounge. Since you haven't actually logged in when you're in the Lounge, there's no way for City Hall to save your information as you play. Feel free to keep enjoying the games, though -- it's good practice for when you get in!

Hey. Junkjunk here. I wanna talk about the New, Improved, Wonderful Whyville Waiting Room!

I haven't been to Whyville in a while, so imagine my surprise when I try to get in and see the familiar colours of the WWR but wait, IT'S DIFFERENT! Wow, a Lounge and everything!!

There's only a couple things I do not like about the new WWR. One, I liked it when there was a little button you could press and the map would pop up and tell you how many were on, because then you knew when you could try to get on again. And two, I'M ALL ALONE!! I go into the Lounge and who's there? No one, I can't see anyone! But that would defeat the purpose of going to Whyville if you could just go into the Lounge and talk. Still, I need to talk to live, LoL! I am not anti-social! :)

Oh, and the face that shows up when you go into the Lounge, it's wonderful and all, but I think it looks kinda feminine and I'm a guy, and I don't know about the rest of you guys but I don't like looking like a kinda feminine face! So if it looked like the normal Newbie smile, I think that'd be cool!

Hey Whyville, this is veronica1. Usually I like what City workers do. Not today. The new waiting room is good for newbies, but what about the oldbies, or people in the middle like me? We know what to do. There is no link to get to the Times unless we go in to the lounge!!

There is the problem -- it takes too long to do this. I wanted to read the paper, but it took a while just to find it! When I click back to sign in again, it takes me to the page I was just on. To see if this was my computer or Whyville, I opened another window and went back and still had problems.

I think this waiting room should be just for newbies. I want my waiting room back!
