I'd climb the highest mountain
For a better view of the stars
I'd salute the mighty Jupiter
and cast a wink to Mars
I'd sit upon that hillside;
breathe in the fizzy air,
and dream of 'Rion gliding down
to take me on up there
And maybe I wouldn't make it-
and tear the blue abyss
I'd rip apart the atmosphere
to give the ground a kiss
And yet, I'd keep on diving
and toss the rocks aside
I'd fly throughout the mantle
and burst out the other side
With speed to my advantage
I'd rocket 'bove the town
I'd give the emperor a smile
and see him upside down
I might struggle through the clouds a bit
or have to avoid a plane,
but I'd make it past the chilled azure-
The earth would start to wane
Soaring, I would zoom beyond
the dusty milky way
I'd steal a glance back at my home
and know it'd stay the same.
