The excitement runs through you,
like blood in your veins,
at the thought of a hot, beautiful summery day,
You can't wait to go swimming,
you can't wait to go play,
you can't wait to have fun every day!
The flowers will bloom,
the leaves on the trees will grow,
and best of all, no more chilly weather and snow!
You'll be dark and tanned,
your hair will get lighter,
as you play on the beach in the sand
You'll go biking,
rollerblading with friends,
camping and hiking
You won't be in front of the screen all day long,
you're life's gonna be more fun,
like one of the ones in a song.
