A whisper in the darkest room
A murmur hardly done
It captures me and passes me
And I have told no one
Still, slowly I come out
I call your only name
And suddenly we both do see
That I am utter shame
Before I speak my thoughts,
And finish this full poem,
I realize that you'll never think
To read the words alone
All efforts thus are lost
All writers I let down
All apologies for the time
You've wasted in this town
