Hi, I'm 7candy3. Normally, I'd write a poem or an article saying how happy I am with Whyville. But not today, I'm too disappointed. I am not very pleased, indeed!
What am I talkin' about? The Whyville waiting room! I want back the old waiting room, I dislike this Lounge. Now, I know many people are really enjoying the Lounge and everything, but I JUST WANNA CHECK THE MAP AND READ THE PAPER!!! I don't like having to log in (like I normally do, that's not the problem), then wait for the "waiting page" to load (or actually get into Whyville, but that never happens), and then, to get to the paper, I have to click on the Lounge (*sticks tongue out*) then wait for that page to load and then finally click what I want (by now you probably get my point)!
I just want my old waiting room back. To you who are really enjoying the Lounge... YES, I WANT BACK THE PLAIN PAGE YOU ALL CALLED BORING!!!
I feel this lounge thingy has taken over the point of Whyville. You can chat now when your waiting to get in your account... but if you can chat even though you're in a waiting room, I don't like it. I mean, a lot of people come to Whyville just to talk to other people. They ain't playin' games or anything. THEY'RE JUST CHATTING!!! Now, normally I think City Hall and the workers make great choices and I know I can't change this Lounge, but it is disturbing to me
I hope this article gets published... not because of anything I wrote so far but because
I will not be able to tell any of my friends that I am hereby quitting Whyville. I want to say bye to all my friends and say you guys are the best. =( Miss you all... I might come on my account one last time to try and see you... but I never get on, so see ya.

Note from City Hall: I hope you don't leave us just yet, 7candy3! There are so many ways we hope to grow from here! For starters, we've received many complaints from veterans about not being able to get to the map and newspaper right away -- we're working on fixing that ASAP! How's that for not being able to change this Lounge? :-)
One other thing -- citizens can "chat" in the Lounge, but only with themselves! The room you go to in the Lounge is just big enough to fit that one face you see, no one else. Letting folks chat back and forth in the waiting room would really mess up the reason we have it in the first place -- chat is very hard on our servers, you know!
I hope this cleared some things up for you, 7candy3, and for everyone else, too. Thanks for your patience, and pardon our dust as we continue to improve our little city!
