Hey guys, I'm back with another cosplay-ish article. I just wanted to show you guys my "The Walking Dead" inspired zombie makeup from this past Halloween.
I made the prosthetic/mask out of liquid latex, tissue paper and cotton pads, using acrylic nails as teeth, built on top of a plaster mould of my own face. I painted it after everything dried. To be honest, painting is not exactly my strong point, so I really saved it by using a lot of fake blood.
I used more liquid latex, tissue paper, and foundation to build the fake/torn away skin onto my face. This is actually really easy to do. I attached the prosthetic to my face with more liquid latex and blended everything with foundation and fake blood.
Making this costume was my first time ever using liquid latex, so I'm really proud of the way it came out. I'm hoping that I can only improve on my special FX makeup from here.
