Dear Cole,
This is the sappiest, formal-est thing I've ever done. And I don't understand why I'm writing it, you'll never see it. I know and understand you don't reciprocate these feelings.
You're one of those people that I instantly clicked with. When I first met you during band, I knew that we'd get along well, more than well. We are basically the same person, just different genders. We both enjoy the same music, black humor, and games. We both love marching band.
The only difference between us is I love you.
And I know I'm yelling that into a valley full of sand, and you will never feel the same way. But I love you. I've been in love with you.
You don't feel the same way, and probably never will. And I understand. you won't. You aren't ready for a relationship, you aren't ready for a girlfriend.
But, when you are ready. you will find the right girl. She will love you almost as much I loved you. She will treat you right. She will laugh at all your jokes, will sing at the top of her lungs with you. I hope she treats you with as much love and care as I would.
The only difference between you and me is I love you.
