Tailgating before football games with friends and family may be on a hold for 2020, but it won't stop football in the south from happening this year. Sadly, for the moment, the PAC-12 and BIG 10 conferences have cancelled their football seasons. The Southeastern Conference (SEC), however, will be starting their season on September 26, 2020.
For those of you who don't know, the SEC consists of 14 teams that are split between two divisions. These divisions consist of seven teams in the east and seven teams in the west.
The SEC East Division consists of The University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Kentucky, University of Missouri, University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, and Vanderbilt University.
The SEC West Division consists of The University of Alabama, University of Arkansas, Auburn University, Louisiana State University, University of Mississippi, Mississippi State University, and Texas A&M University.
This year, due to COVID-19, is a special year in the Southeastern Conference. There will be no out of conference games during the regular season, so each team will only play other SEC teams during the regular season. Each team will play a total of ten (10) games during the regular season.
My predictions for each team are as follows:
