week before I wrote this. Anyway, I want to talk about some individuals I interviewed. These people were the ones that really stood out. All of them accepted the interview and I found out something from them that I'd like to share. These individuals were the nicest people on Whyville. And that is what makes good friends! Here I go!
Me: May I interview you for the Times?
Rejected: Sure, why not.
Me: Ok, Rejected, how would you explain your individuality?
Rejected: Well, I'm odd, nobody even comes close. But I don't need anyone.
Me: Why do you like Whyville?
Rejected: It amuses me to annoy preps and why-clones.
Me: If you could change one thing about Whyville, what would it be?
Rejected: Whyville needs to look at why they silence or tape people. We can handle ourselves.
Me: Thanx!
Me: Hey, may I interview you for the Times?
Razor8: Uh, yea.
Me: Explain your individual look to me.
Razor8: I'm a couch because everyone sits on me, especially in the Pool Party.
Me: Would you consider yourself an individual?
Razor8: Yes and no. I like doing things my way, but I like to be a follower, too.
Me: If you could change one thing about Whyville, what would it be?
Razor8: Hmmm, that's a hard one.
Me: By the way, I love your "hates clam beggars" sign.
Me: And that's about it.
Razor8: Ok, bye.
Me: Hey, want to be interviewed for the Times?
Crumple: Ya!
Me: How do you explain your individuality?
Crumple: I am who I want to be.
Me: Has anyone ever made fun of you on Whyville, if so what have they said?
Crumple: I've heard it all, "you're ugly", "you're such a poser", and even, "be normal and you'll be happy"!
Me: Does that hurt you?
Crumple: Well, it used to, but it doesn't get to me anymore. I feel sorry for those people; they're so blinded by peer pressure. I look past it.
Me: Do newbies ever bother you?
Crumple: Ya, they think I'm a millionaire. But I donate all the time to
Grandma's.
Me: If you could change one thing about Whyville, what would it be?
Crumple: Cool new places, maybe a park.
Me: Thanx a lot, great answers!
Crumple: =)
All of the people I interviewed had one thing in common besides standing out -- they were the nicest people I've met. I'm sorry if I didn't include you and you are an individual. The people I interviewed are on a lot of the time, so I caught them. I recommend meeting these people.
One more note, what I've found out is it's getting tiring getting all those
y-mails from newbies begging for clams. And then they say you're mean if you
don't give them your hard-earned clams. So all those newbies out there, ask for help with raising your salary instead of begging, ok? Thanks!
Other individuals I have noticed include hhyyc, dumblonde, Anela, and others. About 95 percent of Whyville are followers, in my opinion. They all look the same. There are very few individuals. So be one and shine!!!
