Hey all you Whyvillians, this is XimrealX, just wanting to discuss a few things that I have noticed around Whyville lately. I have noticed a lot of foul language in disguise. That is wrong. I have also noticed that everyone is giving out personal information to people, that can be very dangerous! I suggest you shouldn't do it. I have also noticed that there have been a lot of ads for fraud. You know, people give their Whyville password out for dumb reasons like getting a higher salary. All ya gotta do is just keep up with updates in the Whyville Times and most likely you will find an article in it about how to get a high salary. That is how I found out, although my salary is only 9 clams a day right now. I don't care, I am working on getting a Why-Pass and spend more time playing the games. Meanwhile, I am never able to get on. Well, time is short, so I gotta go!

I have been reading the Why Times (like I do a lot) and in a recent paper there was a lot about the issue of reporting someone. Now, on Whyville, I picked on a person once for crying just because she lost a beauty contest (BC). I mean, it was no big deal -- she was pretty and maybe the judge may have had bad taste or could have been bribed (I have heard stories). If you think you are prettier than a person, then just ignore the BC. Please don't go around cyber-crying! That just looks like you want attention. Then this dude came up and said, "I'm going to report you!!!" for teasing the girl, but he never did.

Later, this girl on here told my friend that she was going to report her for doing really nothing. I think some people just use the 911 report as a threat or a way to get someone in trouble. I have to tell you, all the most sensitive people are the oldbies. I mean, the newbies will just say you are "discriminating" but the oldbies say they will report you. How insecure is that! Just calm down a minute, gosh.

Well, I just wanted to say that.

Hello Whyvillians!

oANNIEo here. While reading the paper, I noticed an article that had a different opinion than mine. An article by Liss22 was written about the Whyville Patrol being a scandal. Although the article I wrote was my aimed positively toward the Whyville Patrol, I can certainly see where she is coming from.

I know that some people may abuse the privilege of being in the City Patrol, but I think City Hall will know to not to ask them to work as a City Patrol member. Another point I'd like to make is that I find it hard to ignore or not notice something going on in Whyville that should not be happening.

P.S. I haven't been able to send in one report yet!! And it's because of the Whyvillians, who treat everyone so kindly. Thank you!

Adios!

This is Sonner. I have an answer that the Editor might have wanted after GGbabe's article "Overprotection!"

I say that some kids do swear in front of their teachers and don't care whether they get detention suspended or anything at all! But lots of kids don't fit into this category, only a few do. I do not live in the U.S.A., so I'm not sure if that same law is effective where I live, but some kids may be only 11 on Whyville and have put that little checkmark in the box where it says that "my parents have agreed to let me chat on Whyville".

But I still do agree with GGbabe's article that it is a little silly that we cannot say the words in her article. Whyville can just let those few words out of the filter and keep all the other filters so people don't say really bad stuff.

Times Editor, I hope you enjoyed my answer.

As I opened my eyes early that Saturday morning, I got up and put on my robe. I then walked down the hall, to the computer room and went on Whyville. I was chatting with my friend in the Whyville Square when I saw an unnamed Whyvillian being called several bad words (which the Editor has removed from my article) by another unnamed character. I felt this was bullying and was outraged.

Unfortunately, the culprit got away before I could report him. And I don't recall his name. I feel that Whyvillians who see this kind of behaviour should report the person at once.

Thank you very much.
