Who's Who: Designers

Our Whyvillian designers help us look the way we do. And the best ones help MANY people look the way they do. If you are new to Whyville, or just want to learn who are the best designers, this is the list for you. These are not, I repeat, NOT in any specific order, nor is it necessarily complete. First I list the name of the designer, and then the store that they own. Here we go!

Magick, Religions Around The World: Magick makes things that have never been thought of by other Whyvillians. His stuff is very original, and often are nametags and other things which help you become a unique Whyvillian. Magick is a very up-and-coming designer. I asked him about his new collection of clothes, and here's what he said: "It's very preppy and classy. It's modern-day country club with some bohemian wear."

Orange18, Ardene: Yet another up-and-comer. Don't worry, I'll get to the veteran designers soon. But her parts are amazingly inexpensive. Such high-quality fashion, but no one has even heard of this marvelous shop. Most of the items in the store are cool and bright accessories.

Googles, Xllent Store: I know, I know. I shouldn't even mention this fashionista. She is a true legend that will never be forgotten on the runways of Whyville. But if you're new, you might not have heard of her. Which I doubt.

Helen, Y-Designer: An original who is often forgotten. Who could ever forget her items? You know, the ones that cost hundreds of clams? Helen ruled the fashion scene about two years ago, so I don't blame you if you haven't heard of her. Y-Designer stuff is now considered collectible. A tip for anyone who owns some of her gear: If you sell it on the Trading Post, you can get many clams!

Likamaid, ~*~SaSsPiRiLla~*~: Likamaid is a legend in the making. So many cool parts! I wish I could buy them all! Her stuff is so cute and they all match together! Are we in fashion dreamland or what?

Likaweee, **MaH sToRe**: The punk princess of Why-fashion. I wanted to add a little punk to my look, so I asked my friends who sold the best punk stuff, and they said this store. They were definitely right! Good prices too, nothing over-the-top. I adore the red-tipped eyelashes. Rock on!

So those are just some of the best designers, and the ones you need to know about if you ever plan to go into Akbar's. If you are an aspiring designer, be sure to take a look at these designer's fashions if you want some killer ideas.

Also, here's another tip for wanna-be designers: sketch down a design that you like from Akbar's. Be sure to include all of the important details. Like, are those ruffles or fringe? Then use the sketch to make your own designs.

I even went as far as to y-mail a few of the above and ask what is "in" for this season, meaning summer. The response? Bohemian fringe. Umm, okay, I'll check it out.
