The War Poem

Sk8erdude
Whyville Poet
I hope you like it, bring a box of Kleenex(tm), and enjoy what I mean about the madness!

What if we didn't win,
I'm talking about the war,
What would have happened,
If we didn't destroy,

The Soldiers of America,
Risked their lives for us now,
So we can live right as we speak,

Bang, Boom,
You got hit by a missile,
Or was it
A life-threating thistle,

You got into the jeep,
Heard a tick,
Tick, tick, tick,

Then all of a sudden,
There is a fire,
Oh gosh,
I think that's were my pal is,

Now all we have,
Is because of the war,
Nuclear weapons,
That the army needs,
To keep America alive.
Just think,
What would we be,
Maybe even slaves.

We get 1 hour of rest,
Every week,
So just think,
What would have happened.

Thank you,
Army,
For making us free,
Not like other places.
The most free
Of all the world,
Just because
Of the Great War.

Think of the armies that died from the war, risking their lives for their countries. Thank you, army!
