Publicity: Good or Bad?

Nowadays when I try to sign on to Whyville and it's too busy, I read the
Whyville Times. I have seen several articles recently debating the real life
newspaper article in the L.A. Times regarding Whyville. Everyone is
entitled to their own opinion, and some citizens thought the article
explained Whyville well and others felt offended by the criticism. I'd
like to share my point of view... so here goes.
Every morning at breakfast I just love to read the comics, and as I was
flipping through the paper, an article about this weird place called
Whyville caught my eye. Well, I read the thing (it sure was long!) and it
really was interesting. I mean, I wasn't all that into the educational part, but this sounded like something I should check out. And I did. And I am so glad I did!! Whyville is so much fun (when I can get on).
The point I'm trying to make is that no matter how the article sounded to
some of you, to people who don't know Whyville, it was briefly explained but still left some mystery. That intrigues the person to log on and find out more. And that's what I did.
Well, that's all I've got to say for today.
Walk on,
