Hello, fellow Whyvillians!
I'm sure most of you have been surprised by the new welcome page when you
first log onto Whyville. I'm sure some of you don't like it, but I know I
do! :-) I think it's very helpful and the upcoming beach is very cool.
The first section is Why-Pass -- this section helps describe when your Why-Pass expires and gives a link to buy one and to redeem gift certificates, if you got one from a grandparent or somebody. It includes the current Midsummer Why-Pass Sale, where you can get two dollars off two months.
Permissions -- I think this one is very cool. It shows what you are able to do on Whyville and shows a link to send in a parental permission form.
Clammage -- Kewl name! This section tells you how many clams you have and how many you get a day. It also has a link to Times articles about clams.
Messages from City Hall -- This one isn't very new, so I wont say much about it. It shows messages from City Hall (LoL, of course!).
Navigation -- I won't say much about this one either. It
shows links to popular places in our beloved Whyville.
And definitely the best, the Whyville Beach!!! Yay! We finally have one (or will have one, hopefully soon). You have to help Slim get to the beach. I hope it won't be
too long until we'll be happily soaking up the sun and/or playing in the water!!
