Hey, this is Gone142, talking a little about the September 11th tragedies. People have died and people have survived, and people were hurt. So now we remember everything that happened that painful day. You will see ceremonies on the news and in real life. Those ceremonies are to remember the people who died or got hurt. Also, for the families who have been effected by the disgusting disaster.

Where I live, which is Newfoundland, Canada, we had a lot of ceremonies in many different communities. I also know that Gander, Newfoundland, held the national ceremony -- the Prime Minister and everyone was there!

Newfoundland and many other provinces played a role that fateful day, one year ago. We took in a lot of planes to our airports and billeted people in many different homes. We fed them and tried our best to take care of these people. Those we took in also gave us something back. In one community, the people who came here on the planes gathered up their money and gave a big scholarship to one of the graduating classes! In my town, the people gave a donation to our hospital. I found that the people were nice and polite and I hope they are happy that they had a place to stay while this was going on.

I am watching the news now, and too many people have been affected by this, it's unreal! The terrorists who did this should pay, they hurt so many people. When I watched the TV that day, when I got home from school, I saw the towers fall, and I was so shocked! The first one I thought must have been an accident, but when the second one hit, I knew there was something wrong!

9/11 was surely something to think about, and remembering not the bad things but the good things (if any) that came out of this is great.
