Sponsor Rally?

Hey... SwtChick here.
I have been busy lately, and haven't had the chance to go on Whyville for over a month. Just the other day, I decided I would try and get on. I knew I probably wouldn't be able to, because Whyville is getting busier and busier all the time. When I got to the Waiting Room, I found out about some new stuff goin' on in Whyville. Like the Lounge (goes to show you how long it's been!). And when reading the Times, I heard about other new things coming up in Whyville.
That's great!! I'm glad to see our small island starting to expand. But, I also considered, who is paying for all this? I mean, City Hall must be selling a lot of Why Passes or something, 'cuz it would cost \$MONEY\$$ for all this, wouldn't it? Or am I dreaming??
I'm here to emphasize that Whyvillians should be supporting their town as much as possible! Not just by buying Why-passes, but be supportive and adapt to the changes in our town, or even just do the little things, like help the newbies.
Then I had an idea. Whyville should have something to support the town. A rally, a contest, something! So THEN, I had another idea. City Hall/Workers have told us to go out and find sponsors, yes? Okay. If we can find at least ONE sponsor (yes, only ONE!) to help us, we could have a rally. Hmm... let's say, just for example, we have a clothing contest. For every 10 articles of clothing that go into Grandma's basket, the sponsor would give \$1. I know that 10 articles of clothing is a lot for $1, but there are over two hundred thousand people in Whyville! If each person has 3 things they want to get rid of (I'm sure most of you do, if you take time to think about it), then we would have six hundred thousand articles, right? Do you see where I'm going? And 6 hundred thousand articles means that we could have a whole whack of money!! (Sorry, I can't quite do the math for that one ;) Editor's Note: Well, at 10 items for \$1 means we just divide 600,000 into groups of ten... there are 60,000 groups of ten in 600,000, which means that would come to \$60,000. Whoo boy!
Then Whyville could expand even more. If you're interested in helping me with making money for City Hall and Whyvillians, Y-Mail me! If not, keep supporting our town anyway!
Your faithful Whyvillian,
SwtChick
