Okay, so my mini-series thing comes to a conclusion this week. I would cry
if I was feeling better. Right now, I am too tired to use that much energy
on any one action. Seeing as I am therefore stuck facing my computer screen,
I am writing this last installment, and it seems appropriate that it be
about the future of The Times.
What does the future hold in store? Well, I hope that it holds promise, for
one. I hope that many great writers are inspired to write, and that their
talent is used to the greatest of their abilities, which can only be
accomplished if you are honest.
And, my request for the future? Well, I would like to see the Times come out on Thursdays, as it's supposed to. No, I'm just joking. ;-) I understand that the Editor is a very busy person, reading and posting and editing all of the submissions he gets each week.
But what do citizens want for the Future? I asked a few citizens....
Caitylyn: I would like to see... Hmmm, good question. I would like to see a 24/7 photo gallery where you could post pictures of things that are going on
around town!
laurini: Hmmm... LoL. Tough one. Hehe. I have no clue!
sk8erguy7: I would like to see more pictures.
Amanda: I'd like to see more competitions, more people writing, no dwelling for a long time on little things and a real motivation to get out there and report hackers.
Pinelope: I dunno. It's pretty good already.
I think that all of these suggestions are great, although some sound like a
lot of work. No matter what, the Times will always be a great source for
Whyville news.
I loved working on this series; it was a lot of fun. On Times history, I
would like comment on one of my articles from a while back: Vanilla really is back! Yahoo!
