Hello, hello, hello, Whyvillians,

A recent crisis has come to my attention, and it is that Googles is leaving Whyville! Well, "basically", anyway.

Googles, Whyville's most famed designer, who has visited Whyville since 2000, has now made the decision to refrain from Whyville. 'Tis so sad! She said in her submission on her City Records page: "Ok what's basically going on is that I sorta quit. I know I said I would try to get on but either I don't have time or...I just can't get in...or..I just don't want to get on. Sorry. But my stuff should be kept restocked, by someone else, and thats all most of you care about, so yeah, see ya round..maybe.."

The statement, "my stuff should be restocked by someone else, and that's all most of you care about," was what utterly shocked me. Googles must have felt so pressured being the best designer in Whyville. Always getting letters asking for more and more parts, and always making them. I feel sorry for Googles, because we were too selfish to notice what kind of work goes into being a designer. I just wish Googles knew that we appreciated her, probably more than she knew, and even though I didn't know her personally, I know I'm not the only one who will miss Googles.

Googles was a great asset to Whyville, and I hope that she will change her mind and come back to Whyville more often.
