Money Manager

Hey! Bettyjoe here once again with a bit of advice for all you clam lovers around.

I went into my ledger today to calculate and see how much money I have spent over the course of the year and some months that I have been on Whyville. What startled me was that after looking through only my first 3 months, I had already spent over 2,000 clams! I would have spent over 10,000 clams if I had kept on the same way.

Interestingly, I found that the first months was a few 5 clams here and some there, but when I reached to the months that just passed, I had been spending as many as 100's at a time. How could I let all my money leave me so quickly?

The problem is, when we see something we like, we buy it. Now, not so much me me, but a lot of people have the problem of running out of clams. Trust me, as I just saw, 5 clams here and 10 clams there adds up pretty darn fast!

So what do you do? When you go to Akbar's, don't go and pick the most expensive thing there 'cause you want it. If you can afford it and use it, then get the part. But don't splurge to brag off your clammage. You know that you're going to need that money when the nutrition game comes out. And even if you don't have the face now, it's gonna get worse if you don't have the clams to maintain that poise and glow. You need money for your homes, to get them in reasonable living accommodations; you need money to take the taxi places if the need arrives.

So if you don't have the money, how do you get it? Play the games that Whyville provides for you, and once you have gotten a wonderful salary... buy what you need, BUT dOn'T SpLuRgE!!!

Well, that's all for now: MoNeY tAlKs, Do YoU lIsTeN??
