Halloween Ideas

Hello, it's meg959 here, writing this article early so it gets in before Halloween, hopefully! I know a lot of people (including myself) have no idea what they're going to dress up as for Halloween. I am going to give you some suggestions.

You can dress up as a movie theatre floor with ticket stubs, pieces of popcorn, and candy wrappers glued onto old black shirt and pants. Be a movie star! Buy some funky glasses, get an old dress that's really glamorous, and get a plastic microphone to be your own little star. Be an original Halloween character, a witch, ghost, Frankenstein, or a pumpkin.

You're probably wondering what candy to give out, too. Candy everyone will be bragging about for weeks. I did a quick survey to find out what candy is most popular:

  • M&M's: 2
  • Chocolate Bars: 7
  • Skittles: 9
  • Reese's Pieces: 4

It looks like Skittles are the most popular, and M&M's are least popular. But don't everyone go and get Skittles, you won't want to get a whole bag full of the same thing!

Now, I have some ideas of how to prepare your house for Halloween, and make those trick-or-treaters scream! An original, of course, is jack-o-lanterns; all you have to do is buy a pumpkin, scoop all the goop out, and carve crazy faces or pictures. I like that cotton stuff that when you stretch it out it looks like a spider web. You can get that at most craft stores. Last year when I was trick-or-treating, I heard some spooky music playing... the CD player was under a bush or something. It was cool! Anything is really cool, basically, so go wild while decorating your house for Halloween.

Well, there're some cool ideas of how to prepare for Halloween! Have a great time decorating, shopping, and eating candy!

meg959... signing off, BOO!!
