Hey Whyville! Katrock here. I'm here to tell ya all about a really cool bug... the Grasshopper! Yes, yes... I know they can be annoying and weird. I've always kinda liked stuff like that and climbing trees... weird. Well, I'm getting off topic... LoLz. I found out a kewl way to find out stuff 'bout them.

Just a few days ago I was in my front yard. I was watching a bumble bee fly around my brother's car. Then I looked down and saw a grasshopper! I quickly grabbed it, and put it on a piece of paper on my computer cup, and put a glass Oktoberfest cup on top of it. That day my cat was walking around my monitor and being nosy, but that came to a stop.

My cat saw the grasshopper and sat there watching it until bedtime. I have a little mesh thing that you can keep frogs and stuff in -- I put the grasshopper in it and went to bed. Now everyday I go outside and catch them.

Right now I have fewer grasshoppers. Last year we practically did a record! We caught like, 900 'hoppers!
