Hey hey, it's RJ.
I am here to discuss something that recently happened to me.
Have you ever had a friend you trusted more than ANYTHING? I did. My best friend, Anna (this isn't her real name) and I were like *this*. But over the summer, she played a nasty joke on me, then blamed it on my other best friend.
It all happened over instant messenger chat. One day I snuck on and pretended to be a stranger to the person who had played the nasty joke, saying, hey, can we be friends? She went, "Sure, my name is Anna."
I was heartbroken! Now, after looking back at last year, I figured out that we were never really friends. I always had to go to her if I wanted to talk. She never came to me.
I have also figured out that people I thought were just "those other people" in my class last year are really nice people, wanting to be my friends.
There is a lesson here, people. Don't take anything for granted, you will be sorry if you do and miss the chance of a great friendship.
