I'm writing in response to smileNOW's article on being homosexual. She kept asking questions like, "When did you decide to be homosexual?" and "Have you ever considered being heterosexual?" The thing is, as far as I know, when you are homosexual, it is not a decision, it's just how you are born. Figuring out that you're homosexual is an entirely different matter. I don't know this for a fact, but I've heard that when you're homosexual, when you're walking down the street instead of thinking, "Oh, that girls hot," you think more about how "Oh, that guy's hot."

I'm not sure if the Editor will publish this, but I hope they will because people need to know that its not their *decision* to be homosexual, it's just how they were made.

Hello. I just wanted to make a short comment on the article written by smileNOW on the 13 year old boy, QUISP, being gay/homosexual. I know that she was just expressing her opinion on his lifestyle, but what if a lesbian or gay person was reading that? I'm not lesbian or gay, though, but I'm just saying, when she said that this person's lifestyle is "soooooo wrong", how do you think a person who was that way would feel? Yes, maybe some people do think that it is that way. But I don't think that someone has a choice on what sex they're attracted to. I mean, if you're just... well, *not* homosexual, would you really want to be gay? I think not. So that's not your choice! Is it? Because if it was your choice, then it wouldn't matter to you if you were (excuse what I'm saying) having sex with another person of your gender. Because it is not your choice, in my opinion!

I hope that this article didn't sound too... well, you know... forward. But I just wanted to express my opinion like smileNOW did. I did enjoy the interview. Even though I did not agree with some of the things that smileNOW said.

Thank-you for taking the time to read this. Good-bye.
