Hello,

My name is Miguel, and I'm an adult from Lima, Peru. I'm a former patient of CARIH (the Children's Asthma Research and Institute). I lived there from July 1966 to January 1968. I had severe asthma when I was a boy -- now my asthma is under control. Here in Lima, I run long distance races. Some doctors and other people cannot believe that I participate in long distance races after the severe asthma that I have had.

For me, Terry Fox is one of my heroes. Many times I thought of him. I saw a movie of him years ago and many times through my life he was my inspiration.
