This is HnyBnch again, I have written a similar article to this one before. There are so many new people writing to the Times, hoping to get an article published. I don't have anything against these people, but all I see are Giggler01 and TIKE and other people being published over and over. What's worst is, now there are "flashbacks", written by whoever, people who have already been published. Why do we need this? Others should get their articles in. I think this is plain unfair that the Times is dominated by a few people.

Editor's Note: Back when we could only publish eight or ten articles a week -- and that wasn't very long ago!!! -- many fewer new writers would get published, I guarantee you. Would you rather we cut back the number of articles in the Times? That would be a lot easier for me... ;-) And speaking of easy, the "Flashback" articles you're seeing these days take only a few minutes to set up. We post them because we think there are important messages in those older articles, and they're worth a few minutes of our time. If our Fair Readers disagree, we'll cease and desist, of course.

Hey, it's Jill20. Wuzzup? Well, I'm just writing to describe a discovery I made today. Newbies are very interesting people. They are actually fun to talk to! I know everyone says, "Don't talk to the newbie." But today, I had nothing better to do, so I started a conversation up with a really nice newbie.

I loved talking to her. She experiences our wonderful town one day at a time and is learning things every day. Very interesting. Plus, she knows where to get really cheap cool shirts! HEHE. So, don't be afraid to talk to the newbies Whyville. Because you were once a newbie too....

Hello fellow Whyvillians! OoreganoO here. Guess what I saw? Just yesterday I saw Neopets on T.V! I was flipping channels and Neopets appeared on the screen! The commercial was really based on Cheerios, but it showed the Neopets animals racing the Cheerios bee! It said for more details go to neopets.com. Maybe Whyville could do something like that!!

We could get a sponsor (we are going to need all of your help to get this!! ;) ) Probably something that is normally advertised on T.V., something like Fruit Loops, Crayola, or stuff like that. Then we could see if they would put it on T.V.

Something like the cheerios commercial did -- "See details at whyville.net" -- kinda thing. We would get more visitors, members and probably Whyville would be selling more Why-Passes and t-shirts and stickers! More money for Whyville helps us all! ;)

New chat rooms, improving all sorts of stuff! So let's all help Whyville!
