Do You Remember?

Hey folks, this is Gone142. I am here writing an article, which I haven't done in a long time due to lack of my brain -- I can't think of anything to write about! Well, I'm here to send a message out to all Whyvillians.

Do you remember when you were two and you got in trouble by doing things you don't even know you were doing wrong? Do you remember in your Kindergarten years when you hit that small girl on the shoulder because she took your marker? And finally, to come to our ages... do you remember or have you ever seen someone smoking or taking drugs or behaving and acting inappropriate? I'd bet most of you have. I mean, for adults to smoke and do these awful things to themselves, that's their choice, and I believe that for kids our age to do it, it's our choice too. But our choices aren't always the best.

If you smoke, that's against the law if you're under 19 (in my country ). If you take drugs that are off the streets or are not prescription or over-the-counter drugs, then it's against the law. You don't want to make the wrong decision and let yourself and many others down, do you? That's what I thought.

We aren't -- well, most of us aren't -- those Kindergarten children or small babies anymore. We are responsible for our actions and definitely our words. Now, in the Times there are articles with people arguing over someone's feelings on what they want to be. They are arguing about people being gay. I mean, someone's sexuality isn't any of our business!! No one has the right to make fun of someone who is being his or her self. Being what THEY want to be not what YOU want them to be. That goes to show that most of us at this stage in age and time are making BIG decisions.

But it's what you choose that counts, not anyone else's opinions! Don't let people pressure you to do anything that you don't think is right. Be who you want to be, and if you're doing things you know that are bad and not good for you, try to get out of it before the worst comes.

Bad things end with bad things, good things end with the best. :D

Always here, Gone142.
