Hello, this is Roxiane with another article for the Times. =D
Just a few days ago I was reading the Times ('cause Whyville was full) and I came across this interview with QUISP and smileNOW. It perturbs me to know that a boy can talk about his attractions to other guys and such with Whyvillians and not tell his family... and the times is actually letting these articles in...!
It doesn't matter if he says, "I'm gay," but interviewing and writing articles on people that you don't know in real life is kind of too personal....
I just can't believe that Whyville is letting this personal stuff into the articles.

Hi, lacey3 here. I was just reading about lesbians and it got me thinking, why do we discriminate against people who are different? It isn't their "fault", really. I have seen how rude people are to lesbians.
In this little story, I am not saying any names to protect the people in this. One day I was at the Pool Party when this girl asked another girl if she was single, and the other girl flipped -- she called the first girl many bad things and later on I saw her again and she screamed and got out of that place. I couldn't believe it when I saw the girl that teased the other -- I told her off and she told me to shut up, than she called me gay. I replied, "Why would I be happy near you?!" and that was that. I left.
So if you get asked out by somebody of the same sex and you don't like it, let them down nicely and don't be mean.

Hi, it's Hnybnch again. I don't really know if your sexual preference is a choice or not. I think it is a combination of the "I was born that way" theory and the "it's a choice" theory. Like, well, you look at the people around you; you wouldn't be attracted to someone who was mean to you. If you were a girl, and you had a girlfriend who was nice to you, that doesn't mean you find them sexually attractive. I hope you see where I am going.
I think it has to do with who is nice to you, who is not, and who you think is
attractive. I mean, you can think a girl is attractive and not want to
date them. It all depends on your personal preference.
Too da loo!!
