Whyville Scamming

Hello Whyville, it's shmee, here to tell you about Whyville scamming.

Now I'm sure many of you have read articles on clam scamming or con artists or whatever, but I just want to make a point. In SkUmBaG68's article called "The Perfect Krime", he makes a good point. That anybody can steal anybody's password easily. SkUmBaG68 says that you guys are greedy, and so desperate to be wanted and be "popular" in Whyville. And you know it's true.

Many people have asked me, "Hello there, I am giving out makeovers, would you like one?" or "Can I raise your salary?" Usually my responses are, "PSH, how about you give yourself a makeover, cuz you ain't glowing either" or "Nah my salary is high enough, and I'm not greedy ;)" But I must admit, when I was a newbie, I wanted clams so bad I did fall for a scammer.

I will never forget that day, when all of my clams were gone, my face parts, everything. But who else is there to blame but me? There are no excuses. City Hall can't help you. Sorry to say, but nobody really can. That's why you shouldn't trust anybody.

Whyville workers repeatedly tell you, don't give out your password. And I'm telling you, DON'T DO IT. These scammers will take everything. EVERYTHING!!!

Well, I leave you with just this one tip: DONT GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD!!!
