For those of us who can't sleep. For those of us who are obsessed with Whyville to no end. For those of us who have nothing better to do. To you, I present my list of nocturnal activities on Whyville!

Where do people actually hang late-night? I decide to hang around Whyville, recording my sightings.

9: 24 PM, Saturday Night, September 6, 2002.
It's still relatively early, late-night speaking, on Whyville. Record numbers are hitting the new beach. Most of the people are talking about religion and what's right. Pretty weird topic, but I join in half-heartedly with, "All religions are okay."

10:01 PM, Saturday Night, September 6, 2002.
I look back at my computer screen (I was busy watching TV) and see that the beach is almost empty. I type "HELLO?" and no one answers. Everyone is AFK, away-from-keyboard. Checking my map, I see that the disco is hopping. I enter the disco, join its bright atmosphere and join in with the twenty or so people hanging there. We talk about the music and I ask, "How late are you guys staying up tonight?" Answers range from "It's 4 in the afternoon where I live" to "Bye, I'm going to sleep!"

4:25 AM, Sunday Morning, September 7, 2002.
Okay, I didn't stay up this late. I woke up a TAD early. I head into Whyville with ease (I hadn't renewed my Why-Pass yet). No one in Whyville Square. No one in the Playground. A few people in the Pool Party! Jackpot! It turns out that they are all from Australia.

From this research, I have concluded that not many Whyvillians suffer from insomnia. Good for you! Anyway, I don't know whether this article will make you want to investigate Whyville, late-night. I suggest you don't!

Nodding off,
SamGirl21
