Hey, this is Sunnygrl signin' on!
I want to talk to you, the citizens of Whyville, about my religion. Now I know that you have ALL heard of it before, but it's possible you might not know a lot about it.
I am a Christian and have been for 3 years now. I became a Christian at a Bible camp in 2000 when I was 11. Since then I have been back to that camp twice, I loved it so much.
Now, I'll start with the basics: Christians follow and believe in one God, Jesus Christ. When you become a Christian it means you are accepting Jesus into your heart. Now, I don't expect all of you to automatically get what I am talking about, so I'll explain. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the son of God, that he was born to the Virgin Mary as a human child. That he was just like us, he felt pain and anger and hate. It also tells us that he died on the Cross for us, and went to hell (sorry Whyville, hehe) for 3 days to take away our sins. So if you accept him as your Saviour, you will have eternal life with God up in heaven.
Well, that's it for now, if this is published in the Times I will try to write another article to continue this one. (It's long enough already, I think!)
