Hello, this is jangles... here goes.
I am here responding to Rejected2 's article on the new "Pick Your Nose". In his article he claimed that it's a bad idea for a variety of reasons. The Times Editor responded that the reason they changed it is because it makes Whyville work faster, which is very true; however, I have an even better reason.
Whyville is an interactive learning website, right? Right? Okay, then it's supposed to get our brains thinking... and "expand our horizons", as your parents might say. When you are forced to memorize the names of your face parts, your brain opens up a new file cabinet called "face parts". In this file cabinet is the name of each of your face parts and a picture of them.
Believe it or not, everytime you buy a new face part your brain goes ding! ding! Finds the file cabinet called "Face Parts" he then deposits the new obtained information into the cabinet. I then closes it up and puts it into storage for your next visit to "Pick Your Nose."
Okay, now that you all understand my whole brain theory I can now get to the point...
The point is that everytime you do this your are strengething your thinking and memorization skills, another way Whyville teaches you new things.
I LOVE Whyville and I know that all changes are for the benefit of us. If you think about how much work the technicians do to make us happier you will understand too!

I disagree with Rejected2, a lot of people I talk to love the change! The first day it happened, everyone was talking and saying, oh my, I love the change! Now that this has happened, I know that I won't have to give my stuff away to Grandma as much anymore, because not all of it would load and because I had so much stuff that my computer would just freeze and wouldn't let me change! Now I can actually buy as much as I want, and
the pick your nose window will load everything with in like 15 seconds! It's amazing!
Definitely don't change it, it does not need to be changed ever again.
When I didn't know about the change, I went in my pick your nose window and
it loaded like right away, and I was like, what is going on, this is so not possible! I was so happy! I could actually open up my other internet windows and talk when I changed, too! I couldn't do that before, either, for like 15 minutes because it took so long to load.
One other change that I think everyone likes is the new changing room thing, like the little screen that pops up. That is so convenient! For all the other changes you made -- I like all of them -- good job City Hall!! You guys definitely made all the right decisions!!!
