"Will dad be coming home for Christmas?" I asked my mother.
"No, because he is sick with a pinched arm," my mother answered.
"What's a pinched arm?" I asked.
"It's where your arm is paining 24/7. He may come at New Year's Eve," my mother answered.
Well, for me, I'd been pretty much used to no father here for Christmas and I was finally going to meeting my real dad. He couldn't make it because of that, but at least I'm going to meet him for one holiday.
I should bet that most of you are single parented... if not, I would guess that you are very lucky, because most of us are not so fortunate to have a full, complete family. Some of us are not very fortunate to even have a mother, father, brother, or sister. Some are in the orphanage or in foster care. I feel so sorry for them, but I guess it's gotta happen to somebody, doesn't it?
And some of you are lucky to have your relatives over for Christmas -- now ain't that a treat? Since I live in a town about 2 hours away from my Grandma's home town, I can barely see her and some people live so far away, like the United States to Australia; now isn't that far!
I hope you all have your relatives over for Christmas or New Year's, because Christmas is a great time to get together with friends and family. Even if they live far away!!!
This is Whygal00, going to have a peek at my presents in mom's closet. See ya and Happy Holidays!!
