Hey Whyvillians! Today I interviewed a good friend on Whyville, Prissie33. This article is for the newcomers, on how to get friends. For most people there is just one answer....
Me: On Whyville, would you be friends with anyone? Even if they were 10 years older or younger than you?
Prissie33: Oh yeah, of course, as long as they're not rude.
Me: If someone came up to you and said, "Will you be my best friend?" what would you say?"
Prissie33: I'd say, "Sure, I'm Prissie33, by the way, and you are!?!"
Me: What would you like a person to say when he or she first meets you and want to be friends?
Prissie33: Well, to start, I would really like it if they didn't ask for something (like clams or clothes). But then it doesn't matter, as long as they are not rude to me.
Me: Do you have many friends on Whyville?
Prissie33: Yea, I guess I do.
Me: What do you think the answer is to finding friends on Whyville?
Prissie33: Just be nice to people. Then everyone will tell other people how nice you are. And don't ask for clams, because that doesn't go over so well with some people. Just be nice, I guess!
Me: Do you think that being yourself is one of the most important things?
Prissie33: Of course it is! Ask my friends! It's important to be yourself. You don't want to be phony or fake, because that's not you. Yeah, I can be mean sometimes, but that's part of me, and my friends accept me for who I am.
