Easier on Akbar

I LOVE the mall and making stuff to put in it. But recently, as most people know, Akbar has been taking a break. And the comment that Whyville gave to an article about Akbar being sick told me that we need to go easy on Akbar. So to make it easier, this is what I did.

I reduced my manufacturing to one part a day and only restocking necessary parts. If I don't think it's worth it to keep it in the mall (meaning I would be ripping off the people who buy it), I put it in the No Store, which is where all the parts that nobody likes tend to go.

I do this instead of lowering the price, because if you lower it to 3 and people still don't buy it, there is no point in lowering it to 1 or 2 because it costs 2 to restock one part. So it would be like trying to sell stuff, and yet getting poorer and poorer.

Now, I know the newbies may love finding things they can afford, but it doesn't help the designer much at all. So I just get rid of those useless parts, so that Whyville can go around in style. If everybody cleared away their colourful scribbles, then Akbar's Mall would be clean and full of stuff that people will actually buy.

That's just a thought, even though I don't think Akbar controls sold-outs and all that. I get e-mails from City Hall that say, 'This part has not been sold for 4 weeks and has been taken off the shelves," but perhaps this will make it easier for City Hall instead.

Anyway, I think you got my point, so I will stop blabbing now. "Peace Out!" as the newbies would say.
