Hello Whyville. I have noticed something that is beginning to be a problem in Whyville. Let's say you're at the pool party, how many times have you heard "Get off me," or "That's my spot," or "THIS SPOT IS SAVED!" Well, I know I've heard it way too many times!

There are much worse problems Whyville could have, so I'm glad this may be the biggest of our worries. But it still needs to be fixed. I understand that it's annoying if someone is on top of you and won't budge. But please, try not to cause a fight. If they won't move, be the bigger person and do it yourself. And if you're ever on top of someone, please move!

Also, if you leave, it's not "your" spot anymore. If someone else goes in it while no one was there, you can't blame them. Just sit somewhere else. Believe me, you can chat with your friends just as well even if you aren't next to each other. That's why whispering was invented, for one thing.

So please, try not to pick fights about these issues. Even if you are right, if they won't move, you should. Or use a friendly projectile to clear the air. There's no reason why this should be a problem anymore if we all learn to be courteous.
