Christian Interpretation

Hi Whyvillians! I'm smileNOW... it has been a while, I know. I recently read an article called "Christianity". In this article, the author said a few things that aren't true, according to my understanding of the Bible. First of all, let me tell you that though I've only been a Christian since the summer of 2002, I have been raised in a Bible-teaching church all my life, so I do know a lot about the Bible. The first portion of the article "Christianity" that I want to address is this:
he felt pain and anger and hate
In this sentence, the author is talking about Christ. Well, in the Bible, it says that Christ was perfect, he did no wrong, he committed no sins. In the Bible, Christ says that anger and hate are sins, even if you just FEEL them. So, according to the Bible, Christ did not feel anger or hate, because he was perfect.
The next portion I want to address is this:
It also tells us that he died on the Cross for us, and went to hell (sorry
Whyville, hehe) for 3 days to take away our sins.
Well in the Bible it says that Christ died on a cross for our sins, and he
lay dead in his tomb for three days. It says nothing about him going to
hell. It says he died on a cross, they put him in the tomb, and on the
third day he rose from the dead to go back to heaven where he belonged.
I just wanted to correct what was said in this article, as I understand it. Also, I want to tell the author that if she wants to write back to the Times telling the verses where she found this information, I'd be glad to read it!
Thanks again, Whyvillians -- talk to you later!
