Hi Whyvillians!
I wanted to comment about the MediaHour meeting in the Illusions Talk two weeks ago. I thought it was the best. I met and even talked to some of the celebrities of Whyville, e.g. MediaWiz and Bigfoot; even City Hall was there.
Anyway, I didn't just go celebrity watching. I also got to give my opinions about the discussion of that day, which was PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). We talked about what does and doesn't justify the killing of animals. Whether we were against meat eating and stuff like that or not, we learned what things people can do so that animals don't suffer as much as they're suffering right now, just to keep us clothed and fed.
I learned lots of things from that meeting, and it was fun because you could give your opinions and you weren't judged for speaking up. I can't wait to go to the next meeting, which will be next Wednesday at 6:30pm Whyville Time. Oh, and I forgot to mention -- you can get 50 clams for participating.
I can't believe we haven't done this before. Out of all the things I love doing on Whyville, I think this will be one of my favorites.
