Although I really enjoy going to Whyville, I have been curious as to what others do outside of Whyville.

I am going to tell you about something many of your fellow citizens are involved in. It is called Odyssey of the Mind (it is a competition).

In OM the first thing you do is you pick a problem to solve or a question to anwser. Sound simple? Keep reading.

One problem was what would happen if King Arthur never existed? Then you would explain with a play. Some rules were that you cannot use your hands during the play for holding props and other things.

You also had to pick special props, costumes and characters to be judged, along with different aspects of your play such as humor of the performance. Whoever has the highest score in the competition wins, and could go on to maybe even the World OM competition.
