It was around noon, and I was in the pool. I heard some people in the corner making fun of a newer girl. I myself am new. So I told them politely to leave her alone. They then turned on me and ate me alive.

Now, I am very aware that I am a newbie. I don't think it is a bad thing, but I also don't need it announced. As soon as those first people turned on me, all the other newbie-haters swarmed around me. When I left to check their city records (most of them turned out to be newbies themselves), they accused me of going to the callbox and getting them taped. I hadn't even thought of that. I should have taped them for myself, but I didn't. I believe in second chances, though right now I think I shouldn't.

Not everyone in Whyville is bad, but if you are new, I recommend staying away from the Pool, those people in there can be like the Ku Klux Klan.

Afterwards, I went into the Playground, where I was greeted warmly and I talked to people who were very nice.

I don't think I look like a newbie anymore, but I owe this to someone. I don't know if she wants her name mentioned, but she sent me 400 clams back in December, out of Christmas Spirit and the kindness of her heart. I spent a little on face parts, but now I am saving it up for a house.

Please, people why is this thing about newbies like it is, why are newbies suddenly dubbed stupid and incapable of learning? This is blind hate... hate is a strong word, but even in Whyville, I think it needs to be used in this situation.

I have a theory. If every single person kept peace around them, with their friends and family and those they don't know, then we would have world peace. Think about this.

Thank you for reading my long article, I hope it was worth you time.
