It's Sonner, commenting on that Nestle article earlier in 2003.
Well, first off, it's not Nestle's fault that the milk is contaminated.
Want to know why? Because the people in Africa who handle it can contaminate it when they are going to sell it! Africa does have germs and stuff spreading around and when people package and buy it, that is how they die.
Plus Nestle has to keep the price high because the shipping to Africa and shipping it around Africa to sell costs money! You have to spend money to make money. So that's why they keep the price high is so they can make more money than they spent.
I'm not sure where people in Africa were forced to buy the milk. I mean, come on! They must have different sorts of milk in Africa. I mean, it's a huge continent! In lots of Africa there is poverty and people who work at the factories.
So when you add it all up, Nestle isn't killing anyone. It is something that is contaminating the milk which then some people will drink and get sick or die.

Editor's Note: Do you have statistics to back up your feelings, Sonner? For one thing, Africa is indeed a huge continent, but that doesn't guarantee a variety of clean sources for milk, water, etcetera -- nor does that excuse Nestle for allowing their product to be contaminated prior to sale, if that is actually what's happening. Fact is, I don't know what's happening. I need to read more research from you citizens to feel like I've learned enough!
