Hello Whyvillians! If you read Moongirl9's article, Writing Books, I have a hunch you'll know what this article is about.
In her article, Moongirl9 talked about Whyvillians being able to write books, in the same way designers make clothes. I think it's a wonderful idea! It would make Whyville much more well-rounded.
Have you ever noticed that designers almost always have an excellent amount of money? They have a great sense of creativity, and they get paid clams for it. So, perhaps writers (who have a great sense of creativity as well) should be paid for their work, too. I'm sure that there are many people on Whyville who would just jump at the chance to get paid for writing (I myself want to be a writer)! Who knows, someone with a salary of 3 clams who is a terrible designer could turn out to be a Googles in the book world of Whyville!
On the matter of making the books, I think it would help if there was a way to save your work if you weren't done with it yet, so you could come back to it later.
To round it up, I think the idea of writing books in Whyville is fantastic, and maybe City Hall should give it a try! Moongirl9, thank you so much!
