If you are a weird person like me, who's tried everything to make her hair shiny, straight (or curly, depending), and almost soft, and tried to get all that oily conditioner residue out, wouldn't you experiment on different kind of hair concoctions?
Believe me, all you curly hair and oily hair people. Didn't you wish that just one day your hair were shiny, soft, and straight (and once again, without that oily residue left by the conditioner)? I did, and I experimented just like Jill20, who wrote the experimenting article about not washing your hair for a few days.
Curious? Hear me out. This was my result:
Friday Night (2 hours away from going to a party):
In the shower, using a bottle of gel and conditioner, I found I had an empty bottle. I squeezed out gel to the half of the bottle, and then put in conditioner to the almost fullest, leaving 2-3 inches of emptiness from the top. I shook it (or you can stir it with a stick of some sort) and then washed with it 2 times. Then I did my other business, like scrubbing and soaping, etc.
Afterwards, I blow-dried my hair, and viola! Shiny and soft. Conditioner residue be gone! You can just let it dry without blow-drying, but the results wouldn't be as good.
I went to the party and everyone complimented me on how shiny and great my hair was! I had lots of fun.
So you see, trying something new and weird isn't all that bad. But the results may vary. Have fun!
Off to trying more concoctions!
