Hello, hello. Giggler01 here, genius extraordinaire... well, not really, but I like to think of myself that way. You know how it is, right? Well, if not, don't sweat it, you only end up making yourself look extra dorky. (Trust me, the genius knows!)

Anyway, as you may have read in one of the Mediawiz's reports, the Media Hour ran into a couple of problems the last time I attended a meeting. This report may be late, but I don't think timing is of the essence. To quote Mediawiz,

"Sadly, this MediaHour discussion was blighted by two or three sour apples, frustrating our attempts to keep the talk on track. If you don't want the 50 clams, I'm sure you can find better things to do, okay?"
I'm sorry, Mediawiz, but I think you are just too nice. These people were extremly rude, and I know because I was there. But I'm not here to bash them.

In one of Babypowdr's articles, it was mentioned that in the past you had only been allowed to talk at certain times in certain rooms. I'm not sure if that's true, but it's a useful idea. That's when it came to me. Actually, this took a couples of days to come to me: What if we had a room that was designed especially for the Media Hour? And what if we could only chat in this room during the Media Hour?

Some people might argue that this isn't a very good idea. I mean, the Media Hour only last 60 minutes, so what's the room good for? I would be in favour of having a BBS in the room to discuss documentaries, the news, TV in general and even recommend movies and books. Wouldn't that be cool? It would probably be convienient to have a link in the room to the current Media Menu, so you could read about the show of the week quickly.

It would even be nice to have an archive of the Media Hour shows and some of the comments that people have made.

Of course, there's a million things that have to be done around City Hall to make that, and with the recent addition of the nutrition game (which by the way, I think is awesome, although some things are too precise), it doesn't seem right to ask for something new. But people are always up for suggestions, right?

Anyway, genius has to go figure out how to work the microwave so she make supper. Fun for everyone, if they survive!

Editor's Note: As a matter of fact, the folks at City Hall are working on a brand new auditorium (in their spare time) which will allow all sorts of uses, from MediaHour talks to citizen-run theatrical performances! I believe it's expected sometime in late summer....
